Almost 1 year old!!!

Jude will be 1 year in about 2 weeks. Man, time flies. Here are some pictures we took for his 1 year birthday invites. Enjoy!

New Pictures... Finally....

Jude has taken wonderfully to eating solid foods. Here he's demonstrating his ability to stuff scrambled eggs in his face like its going out of style. Our dogs new favorite past time is to sit under the high chair and beg from Jude until he throws food at them and giggles.

Jude skinnydipping with his cousin. This boy loves the pool. With all the 100+ degree weather we were having that little kiddie pool was a Godsend.




The Bathtub

The following pictures require some back story; We had this bright idea to take cute pictures of the kids in a bathtub, in the backyard, so that when said bathtub is installed in the remodeled bathroom adorable naked bathtub pictures can adorn the walls. These were our results:

I'm not even sure what Jude is attempting to do in this picture. All I know is it is one of the funniest faces I have ever seen Jude make (see below for the funniest)

This ^ is the funniest face Jude has ever made. If I hadn't documented it I don't think I would have believed that he had made this face. I've yet to see it since this picture was taken. Apparently its his "blue steel" pose.

This would be Jude's "why am I naked in a bathtub in the backyard?" face.





Disneyworld

We took Jude with us to Disneyworld. (Don't worry we brought a nanny aka my mom) We discovered Jude's complete disgust for all hats especially Mickey ears..... as you can see he was "thrilled" we tried this hat on him.

On our plane ride home from Florida Jude got his own seat between Chris and I. We didn't have his carseat so he could only sit there while we were at cruising altitude, but he had a blast playing and rolling around in his seat when he could.

Here you can see Jude killing his $10 Mickey souvenir from Disneyworld. He obviously really "loved" it.




Reno

Jude got to go with me to Reno the 1st weekend in August to visit his cousins and go to his cousin Lani's birthday Party. Above you can see Lani, my Mom, and Jude the budding redneck.

Beaches

Jude chows down on some Beaches Garlic Bread at my birthday dinner.... sadly this is the only picture I caught of him that day :(

Family Beach Trip in April

Here are some pictures from our family beach trip in April. I just uploaded them from the camera. I'm so bad at keeping this thing updated. Jude had a great time and even go to stick his tiny little toes in the sand.

Wetzel's Pretzels

Jude has discovered a love for Wetzel's Pretzels... he's had his first and I think he's hooked!

6 months old and talking up a storm...

Jude is officially 6 months old. Where did the time go? He can sit up, babble, and eat solid food. He breaks into a fit of giggles when Sassy wags her tail. He's become quite fond of Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma Jilly, reaching out to them and growling at them when he wants them to hold him. Here are some new pictures.

So big...

Jude had his 4 month checkup this last week. He was in extremely high spirits at the Doctor's office; screeching like a monkey, laughing, blowing bubbles, and rolling over into the mirror (see video). The doctor said he was doing great. He's 26" long and 14 lbs 6oz. He got shots and did awesome, hardly shedding a tear.

In other news, Jude can now roll over from back to front, and front to back. He laughs at just about everything. Just a few days ago he also learned to make motor boat noises with his lips which provides him hours of entertainment. The little guy has quite the personality.

"Who's that baby in there? He's making fun of me!"

"Hm... which toy should I play with first?" This is Jude's new favorite toy, we got it from some very generous people at the barn where we keep my horse, Dreamer. We had to scrub it off a little but free is a very good price.

Jude literally fell asleep reading the paper. It was the cutest thing.

Jude was very well behaved, he was a gentlemen and even used his napkin.... though he kind of ate it too. He tried to sample Daddy's apple, his orange juice, and his hashbrowns.

16 weeks already...?!

Little Judebug is getting big; he weighs almost 14 pounds and over 24 inches long. He now talks, smiles, dances, and giggles. His laugh is our favorite. The little giggle sounds like something out of cartoon. We've discovered tickle spots around his neck and armpits that are sure to send him into a fit of giggles. In recent events we've survived our first two colds, and ear infection, and a couple feverish days. By the way Jude is drooling teeth are probably on the way.

I just got some pictures back from superbowl weekend that my Dad took... Jude looks pretty awesome in his Denver Bronco's Jersey... his daddy is an avid fan....




"What?! The broncos didn't make it to the superbow!"



We were trying really hard to get a smile out of him but all we got were silly "goober" faces. Oh well... these will be good ones to embarrass him with in his senior high school yearbook :D

Jude is a Model....

Jude had his first professional pictures done. I must say the woman at Sears was amazing because she caught my little guy's smile pretty well. We'll get the prints back in a few weeks enjoy the previews for now.....




*I do have to thank my dad because if it weren't for him taking so many pictures of Jude I don't think he would've been so easygoing in front of the big scary camera

8 weeks old

Judebug is 8 weeks old today!!! He's starting to hold his head up all on his own, he makes cooing noises, and gets more personality everyday. Our favorite thing in this house is Jude's "Happy Dance." Jude does a little dance where he simultaneously kicks his legs and moves his arms while smiling and giggling. It's his favorite thing to do when you're trying to wrestle him into a pair of footed pajamas. Here are some more pictures from my cell phone. One of these days I'll break down and use the camera again. The cellphone is just more readily available.

Sweet little angel face. Jude has lot's of smiles but we can never catch them on camera.

Jude's "Santa" snow suit kept him nice and toasty warm during the cold snowy days we had for two weeks here in Washington. Jude promises to never wish for a white Christmas ever again.

After discovering his new toys on his carseat, Jude crashed hard from all the playing.

Finally we caught him halfway smiling.

Another nap... believe it or not he doesn't sleep all day.

Sleepy little bear... Jude has all kinds of outfits to dress up for the cold weather we've been having.
